The search in all new list views (deal sheets, inventory, etc.) is very limiting in that you can't search for a specific term and see results in every column that search terms appears. For example, if you search by last name ("Pierce") in the deal sheets list view, the deal sheets with that last name will not appear. You need to search for both first name and last name ("Molly Pierce") to see all deal sheets on that account. In the inventory list view, if you search merchandise, it only searches the inventory item column and not the product/category columns.

The filtering options in the new list views are very limiting in that they do not allow for additional logic to be applied other than and logic. For example, if you are trying to see all deal sheets that are type = a or type = b, this is not supported as you can only filter on type = a and type = b. In addition, the only supported equation logic is equals, does not equal, contains data and does not contain data. There is no operator for contains, starts with, ends with, less than, greater than, less than or equal to, greater than or equal to, between, etc.
