The idea is simple - allow people to merge Ticket Sales Opportunities. Sometimes, our sales reps create a new opportunity on accident instead of working with their existing TSO for a client. This would be helpful to keep all of the data clean.
It work work the same as merging a contact, you can choose what parts of each opportunity to be in the master record. All of the tasks would transfer over to the new master opportunity.
Especially for our new ticket reps, there is a lot that they are learning and this is something that has happened many times this season so far. It causes a headache for the CRM Manager having to choose what opportunity to keep and which one to deactivate.
