We would like to add additional fields / criteria for segmentation outside of the basic fields that are coming in from Ticketmaster (ticketing data source). For example, if we could get the price code info 1 field aka price type group into the ticket groups field then we could segment customers that have partials, groups, single match tickets because this field cleanly groups transactions vs. having to code in every relevant price code into a Ticket Groups query and maintain the query every time a new type of price code is created. Ideally the ability, to add those additional types of fields from other data sources out of the warehouse would allow us too segment more seamlessly and with more variety of criteria.

Yes, this appears similar to being able to create Ticketing Groups based on Client Types in SRO/SeatGeek. That would help us non-TM teams tremendously.
